About Paper for Water


Paper for Water's primary mission is to bring water and the Word to the Thirsty one piece of paper at a time. In 2011 Isabelle and Katherine Adams learned that girls world-wide were not going to school because they were hauling water all day and that a child dying every 15 seconds from unclean water. They wanted to make a change and began creating origami Christmas ornaments to exchange for donations for clean water and sanitation projects. Paper for Water is powered by hundreds of volunteers of all ages. It has raised over $2.5M, funded over 300 water projects and impacted the lives of over 50,000 people in 20 countries.

Isabelle and Katherine, now 15 and 18 years old, have received numerous awards and speak regularly around the country at a variety of events and engagements.
